Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of renualenergy.com (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Ross Gruber, a sole proprietor doing business as Renual Energy (“Renual,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site provides information about Renual’s program for upgrading rental homes with solar, battery storage, air conditioning, EV charging, and related equipment, and it lets you contact us. The Site does not sell anything, create accounts, or take payments.
2. Nothing on the Site is an offer
The Site is general information, not an offer or a contract. Descriptions of our program, including any figures for discounts, savings, costs, or equipment, describe how the program generally works. They are not terms offered to you, and they may not apply to your property.
Whether a property qualifies depends on an evaluation, including the property itself, its utility, local rules, and the owner’s agreement. Contacting us or requesting an evaluation does not mean your property qualifies or that we will offer you service.
If you become a Renual customer, your rights and ours are set by the written agreement you sign. That agreement controls pricing, discounts, equipment, installation, term, and termination. Where the Site and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement controls.
3. Information, not professional advice
Our blog and other content discuss energy, equipment, utility programs, incentives, and rental property. It is general information, not legal, tax, financial, or engineering advice, and it may not reflect the latest changes to rates, incentives, or rules. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions based on it.
4. Using the Site
Please don’t:
- use the Site unlawfully, or to harass, defraud, or harm anyone;
- submit false information, or someone else’s personal information without their permission;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or the systems behind it;
- overload, disrupt, or scrape the Site by automated means; or
- copy or reuse the Site’s content except as Section 5 allows.
We may block access to the Site for anyone who does these things.
5. Our content
The Site’s text, images, design, and the Renual name and logo belong to Renual or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, print, and share pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, including by using the share links on our blog posts. Any other use, including using the Renual name or logo, needs our written permission.
6. What you send us
When you send us information through the Site or by email, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including that we may send you information about Renual, which you can stop at any time.
Please don’t send us confidential information through the Site. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Renual, we may use them without any obligation to you.
7. Links to other sites
The Site may link to websites we don’t operate. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
8. No warranty
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Renual will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to $100.
This section applies only to your use of the Site. It does not limit anything in a signed customer agreement, and it does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply to use of the Site after they are posted.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
12. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a provision, we haven’t waived it. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Renual about your use of the Site.
